strong, the father of the prophet Isaiah ( 2 Kings 19:2 2 Kings 19:20 ; 20:1 ; Isaiah 1:1 ; 2:1 ). As to his personal history little is positively known. He is supposed by some to have been the "man of God" spoken of in 2 Chronicles 25:7 2 Chronicles 25:8 .
