104 : 1 Bless theLord, O my soul!OLordmy God, you arevery great!You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
104 : 2 covering yourself with light as with a garment,stretching out the heavenslike a tent.
104 : 3 Helays the beams of hischambers on the waters;he makesthe clouds his chariot;he rides onthe wings of the wind;
104 : 4 hemakes his messengers winds,hisministersa flaming fire.
104 : 5 Heset the earth on its foundations,so that it should never be moved.
104 : 6 Youcovered it with the deep as with a garment;the waters stood above the mountains.
104 : 7 Atyour rebuke they fled;atthe sound of your thunder theytook to flight.
104 : 8 The mountains rose, the valleys sank downto the place that youappointed for them.
104 : 9 You seta boundary that they may not pass,so that theymight not again cover the earth.
104 : 10 You make springs gush forth in the valleys;they flow between the hills;
104 : 11 theygive drink to every beast of the field;the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
104 : 12 Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell;they sing among the branches.
104 : 13 From your lofty abode youwater the mountains;the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work.
104 : 14 You causethe grass to grow for the livestockandplants for man to cultivate,that he may bring forthfood from the earth
104 : 15 andwine to gladden the heart of man,oil to make his face shineand bread tostrengthen man's heart.
104 : 16 The trees of theLordare watered abundantly,the cedars of Lebanonthat he planted.
104 : 17 In them the birds build their nests;the stork has her home in the fir trees.
104 : 18 The high mountains are forthe wild goats;the rocks are a refuge forthe rock badgers.
104 : 19 He made the moon to mark theseasons;the sun knows its time for setting.
104 : 20 You make darkness, and it is night,when all the beasts of the forest creep about.
104 : 21 The young lions roar for their prey,seeking their food from God.
104 : 22 When the sun rises, they steal awayand lie down in theirdens.
104 : 23 Man goes out to his workand to his labor until the evening.
104 : 24 OLord, how manifold are your works!Inwisdom have you made them all;the earth is full of your creatures.
104 : 25 Here is the sea, great and wide,which teems with creatures innumerable,living things both small and great.
104 : 26 There go the ships,andLeviathan, which you formed toplay in it.
104 : 27 Theseall look to you,togive them their food in due season.
104 : 28 When you give it to them, they gather it up;when youopen your hand, they are filled with good things.
104 : 29 When youhide your face, they aredismayed;when youtake away their breath, they dieandreturn to their dust.
104 : 30 When yousend forth your Spirit,they are created,and yourenew the face of the ground.
104 : 31 May the glory of theLordendure forever;may theLordrejoice in his works,
104 : 32 who looks on the earth and ittrembles,whotouches the mountains and they smoke!
104 : 33 I will sing to theLordas long as I live;I will sing praise to my God while I have being.
104 : 34 May mymeditation be pleasing to him,for I rejoice in theLord.
104 : 35 Letsinners be consumed from the earth,and let the wicked be no more!Bless theLord, O my soul!Praise theLord!
