Library > Bible versions > The Message (MSG Bible) > Psalms > 28 > Psalms   28 : 1 To you, OLord, I call;my rock, be not deaf to me,lest, if yoube silent to me,I become like those whogo down to the pit. 28 : 2 Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy,when I cry to you for help,when Ilift up my handstoward your most holy sanctuary. 28 : 3 Do notdrag me off with the wicked,with the workers of evil,who speak peace with their neighborswhile evil is in their hearts. 28 : 4 Give to them according to their workand according to the evil of their deeds;give to them according to the work of their hands;render them their due reward. 28 : 5 Because theydo not regard the works of theLordor the work of his hands,he will tear them down and build them up no more. 28 : 6 Blessed be theLord!For he hasheard the voice of my pleas for mercy. 28 : 7 TheLordis my strength andmy shield;in him my hearttrusts, and I am helped;my heart exults,and with mysong I give thanks to him. 28 : 8 TheLordis the strength of his people;he isthe saving refuge of his anointed. 28 : 9 Oh, save your people and blessyour heritage!Be their shepherd andcarry them forever.
