Library > Bible versions > The Message (MSG Bible) > Psalms > 91 > Psalms   91 : 1 He who dwells inthe shelter of the Most Highwill abide inthe shadow of the Almighty. 91 : 2 I will sayto theLord,Myrefuge and myfortress,my God, in whom Itrust. 91 : 3 For he will deliver you fromthe snare of the fowlerand from the deadly pestilence. 91 : 4 He willcover you with his pinions,and under hiswings you willfind refuge;hisfaithfulness isa shield and buckler. 91 : 5 You will not fearthe terror of the night,nor the arrow that flies by day, 91 : 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. 91 : 7 A thousand may fall at your side,ten thousand at your right hand,but it will not come near you. 91 : 8 You will only look with your eyesandsee the recompense of the wicked. 91 : 9 Because you have made theLordyourdwelling place&emdash;the Most High, who is myrefuge&emdash; 91 : 10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you,no plague come near your tent. 91 : 11 For he will command hisangels concerning youtoguard you in all your ways. 91 : 12 On their hands they will bear you up,lest youstrike your foot against a stone. 91 : 13 You will tread onthe lion and theadder;the young lion andthe serpent you willtrample underfoot. 91 : 14 Because heholds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;I will protect him, because heknows my name. 91 : 15 When hecalls to me, I will answer him;I will be with him in trouble;I will rescue him andhonor him. 91 : 16 Withlong life I will satisfy himandshow him my salvation.
